Periodic testing of pressure cylinders
The inspection of industrial gas cylinders using the hydrostatic method is an essential process to ensure the safety and reliability of these vessels. In this test, the cylinder is subjected to a pressure in excess of 1,5 times the normal operating pressure. This verifies the strength and leak tightness of the cylinder, while monitoring for leakage of liquid or permanent deformation of the cylinder. This method is preferred because of its ability to detect even minor defects that could lead to failure in normal operation.

At the customer's request, it is possible to apply a new coating based on eco-friendly, water-dilutable paint during the inspection. The cylinder coating can either be repaired or completely renewed.
